Baseball registration is open!
Girls Inc. of Halton’s Girls At Bat program was developed in partnership with the Jays Care Foundation to encourage more girls to participate in team sports, increase confidence in their abilities and gain new networks of friends and mentors.
All Girls at Bat participants receive a:
- Baseball hat, glove and ball
- Practice jersey
- Game Jersey
- Participation award
- Invitation to the end of season celebration
- Opportunity to win prizes for weekly participation
2019 Participant cost to register for program is $60
Halton Hills will have practices and games Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Robert Little Ball Diamond.
Milton will have practices and games Monday and Wednesday evenings at Lions Sports Park.

Who can participate in Girls At Bat?Girls who will be in grade 3 in September, to girls in grade 8 in September are eligible to participate in Girls At Bat!
Who can volunteer for the program?Adults 18+ with a Vulnerable Sector Check
Is previous Girls Inc. programming required to register?Previous Girls Inc. of Halton session experience is not required to attend or volunteer with Girls At Bat.
Where will the Girls at Bat program be located?Practices and games will be held at Robert Little for Halton Hills and Lions Sports Park for Milton.
What if I can't afford Girls At Bat?We are working hard to maintain program accessibility so all girls can participate in Girls At Bat. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for subsidies for this program.
Why should I enroll my daughter in this program?Girls At Bat is a program that was developed to encourage more girls to participate in team sports, increase confidence in their abilities and gain a new network of friends and mentors. As girls age, the research shows that she will drop out of organized sports. This impacts physical fitness, self esteem and mental health. Girls At Bat is an inclusive, encouraging program designed to combat that!
Are their programs in other Halton municipalities i.e. Oakville and Burlington?We will be hosting Girls at Bat in Milton and Halton Hills in Summer 2019. We will present workshops during Summer Day Camp in Burlington and Oakville and plan to expand in the future.
What is the time commitment for Girls at Bat?There will be practices and games weekly!
